German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is due to arrive here Sunday on a two-day visit to Egypt.

During the visit, the German foreign minister will hold talks with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Steinmeier will also hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on a host of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
