H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, received heads of the participating delegations at the GCC Directors-General meeting of Passport, Naturalisation and Residency Departments, at the UAE Ministry of Interior on Tuesday.
Sheikh Saif was briefed on issues of the meeting’s agenda, with the aim to serve the joint GCC work. The resolutions of the meeting would contribute to facilitating the movement of GCC nationals in the GCC states to achieve the aspirations of GCC leaders and citizens, and ensure the security and stability of their countries.
Among those who attended the meeting included Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs and Head of UAE delegation at the meeting and other senior police officers.
