Army Commander General Jean Qahwaji met at his office in Yarzeh with the commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Gen. Luciano Portolano, and addressed the situation on the southern border.
The Generals discussed cooperation between the army and the international force to maintain the stability of these areas in the context of implementation of Resolution 1701.
