The meeting was chaired by Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al Samari, Secretary General of the GCC Records and

 A number of recommendations submitted by members were approved at a meeting of the 31st Session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretariat General of Records and Studies Centres in Muscat on Sunday.

The meeting, hosted by the National Records and Archives Authority, was chaired by Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al Samari, Secretary General of the GCC Records and Studies Centres who is also Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives. 

The meeting approved recommendations on a number of issues on the agenda and recommendations on a number of issues submitted by the members.

The meeting also discussed records related to the history of the AGCC on exchange of sources of information. 

The meeting also discussed a number of training sessions and the preparations for holding an international conference in the field of records at the AGCC States. 

The records and archive centres taking part in the meeting were the Sultanate’s National Records and Archives Authority, the National Centre for Records and Archives (KSA), King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (KSA), the National Archives Centre of Bahrain, the Studies Centre of Bahrain at Bahrain University, Isa Cultural Centre in Bahrain and Bahrain Centre for Historical Records among other centres.
