National Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, received here today, the UK senior defence adviser to the Middle East, General Thomas Beckett, and his accompanying delegation.

The National Guard Commander lauded the depth of the strategic Bahrain-UK friendship relations which, he said, are based on a long history of bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly the military one.

He praised the steady growth of bilateral relations in all fields.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa also reviewed with the UK delegation ways to bolster joint military cooperation.

UK senior defence adviser to the Middle East lauded the depth of the solid long-standing Bahrain-UK ties, affirming his country’s keenness on continuing its intensified efforts to develop and deepen its relations with Bahrain at all levels.
