Royal Guard Commander and Head of the High Organising Committee of Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2017) Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received in the presence of Royal Guard Special Forces Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, Combined Maritime Forces and 5th Fleet Vice Admiral John Aquilino. They discussed the latest military technologies showcased in BIDEC 2017.

The meeting was attended by the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck.

Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also received Commander of the Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism (IMAFT) General Raheel Sharif, on the sidelines of BIDEC 2017. They discussed cutting edge defence systems and military technologies provided by major international companies.
