HH Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard and President of the High Organising Committee of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC), received in the presence of Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, General Lord David Richards, former Chief of the Defence Staff of Britain on the side-lines of the event.

During the meeting, HH Brigadier Shaikh Nasser discussed with General Lord Richards a number of topics, visions and ideas on the developments of the military industry. HH Brigadier Shaikh Nasser underlined during the meeting that BIDEC is an opportunity to meet experts, specialists and representatives of major defence equipment manufacturers and military systems under one roof. Meanwhile, HH Brigadier Shaikh Nasser also met on the side-lines of BIDEC several French senior military officers who praised the organisational level of the event
