Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received Ronald Neumann the president of the American Academy of Diplomacy, board member of the US Council for Middle East Policy and former US ambassador to Bahrain, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom.
The minister noted the deep ties of friendship and strategic alliance between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, expressing pride in the relations between the two countries in various fields.

The Minister also affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom to further develop the Bahraini-American relations to fulfill the aspirations of both countries and people.

For his part, Neumann expressed pleasure in visiting the Kingdom and meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, praising the strong bilateral relations and their continuous development at all levels. He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting also discussed issues of mutual interests as well as the latest regional and international developments.
