Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Tuesday with a group of disabled people to listen to their complaints.
The get-together was attended by Manpower and Immigration Minister Nahed el Ashri, Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali and Chairperson of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration Fawzya Hassan.
Mahlab said the cabinet will remain in touch with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities to solve any problem facing this bracket.
"We are committed to appointing 5 percent of people with disabilities in the government sector in line with specific criteria without any kind of nepotism," Mahlab said.
He underlined that the government is working on providing needed funding for 5,000 job opportunities for the disabled people across Egypt.
