Head of the Libyan army, General Khalifa Haftar, arrived in Amman on Friday on an official visit, Petra News Agency reported.

While in Amman, Haftar will meet with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mishal Al Zaben, the King's military adviser, for talks on the latest regional developments and issues of common concern.

In April, advisor to the Jordanian King and Army Chief of Staff General Meshal Al Zaben and Leader of the Libyan Army General Khalifa Haftar attended a military training on combating terror.
