Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, State Minister for Legal Affairs and acting Foreign Minister Bishir Khasawneh received Special envoy of Kazakh President, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Akylbek Kamaldinov, who conveyed a verbal message to His Majesty the King from Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed bilateral ties as well as a number of regional and international issues.

Khasawneh emphasized the advanced ties between the two countries, voicing Jordan’s appreciation for the role of Kazakhstan in hosting the Astana meetings on Syria.
