Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, received on Wednesday the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Nasser Judeh, who handed him an invitation from His Majesty King Abdullah II to attend the Arab Summit in March.
According to the Petra News Agency, Mr. Judeh highlighted the importance of President Abbas's participation in the summit as the Palestinian issue tops the agenda of the summit, and is considered by Jordan as the core of conflict in the region.
Judeh affirmed the Jordanian King's keenness to maintain cooperation and coordination with Palestine in the interest of both peoples.
The Palestinian President voiced his appreciation of King Abdullah's supportive stance towards the Palestinians in their quest to achieve their legitimate rights.
