Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi

Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al Abadi on Monday received New Zeal-and Minister of Foreign Affairs Murray McCully.
The two sides discussed ways to promote bilateral relations and Iraq's efforts to combat terrorism.
Abadi stressed that Daesh poses a threat to the security of the whole world, urging the international community to help his country in its war against terrorism.
The government launched a reconstruction fund for liberated areas to provide necessary services there, Abadi said.
For his part, the foreign minister confirmed his country’s full support to Iraq's efforts to fight terrorism and to train security forces.
We are ready to inaugurate our embassy in Baghdad to facilitate our advisers' mission of training Iraqi Army, New Zealand's top diplomat said.
