King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held in Jeddah today a meeting with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He expressed thanks and appreciation to the Saudi monarch for the warm welcome and hospitality which embody the solid and deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed HM the King, hailing his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and voicing appreciation of the distinguished fraternal ties binding both countries.
Both leaders reviewed strong bilateral historic relations as well as regional issues and ways of boosting GCC work.
HM King Hamad underlined deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and growing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields. He stressed Bahrain’s constant support to Saudi Arabia, lauding the key role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in maintaining regional security and stability and warding off threats and foreign interference. He commended the efforts of King Salman in fostering the GCC march and serving Arab and Islamic issues. He emphasised the strategic depth of Saudi Arabia for the Gulf and Arab countries, describing it as a pillar in maintaining regional security and stability.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction at growing relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing keenness to further bolster them and boost cooperation at all levels. They also discussed the overall regional, Arab and international developments and exchanges views regarding issues of common interest.
