Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy met visiting Deputy Advisor of the UK National Security Council Gwynne Jenkins on Thursday.

The meeting took up a number of files of mutual interest, mainly the war against terrorism and regional developments.

Hegazy expressed hope that the coming phase will witness more cooperation and integration in regional and international efforts against challenges and dangers.
