Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance, received Mr. Moritz Kramer, Chief Ratings Officer, Standard & Poor’s, and from Fitch Ratings Mr. Jan Friedrich, Head of MENA Ratings and Mr. Ed Parker, Head of EMEA Ratings.
The Minister highlighted during the meeting the resilience and diversified nature of the national economy, and the keenness of the government to provide all necessary elements to enhance its competitiveness while exploring further promising economic sectors.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual meetings in Washington, D.C.
