Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa held talks with the United States Secretary of the Treasury, Steven Mnuchin.

The Minister discussed with his US counterpart means of enhancing co-operation in financial and economic fields on the basis of mutual interest, as well as latest developments with regard to the global economy.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual meetings in Washington, D.C.
