Egypt's Foreign Minster Sameh Shoukry met here on Saturday with Arab League (AL) Special Envoy to Libya Nasser al Kidwa.
The meeting focused on the conditions of the Egyptians abducted in Libya, said Forgin Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Ati.
"They also discussed the ongoing efforts to end the turmoil in the North African country," he said.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry has intensified its contacts with local and official authorities to ensure the safe recovery of nationals who have been kidnapped in Libya.
