Egyptian, New Zealand defence ministers review military cooperation

Egypt's Defense Minister Sedky Sobhy held a meeting on Friday with his New Zealander counterpart Gerry Brownlee on means of promoting cooperation.

The meeting tackled several files and issues of mutual concern along with exchanging military expertise between both countries. 

The meeting also covered the tasks of multinational force and the great role played by the Egyptian Armed Forces to facilitate its mission in light of the challenges facing them in Sinai.

Egyptian Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy and a raft of top brass attended the meeting.
