Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Wednesday held talks with his visiting Lebanese counterpart Tamam Sallam on means of bolstering bilateral relations in the various fields.
The talks covered the latest developments on the Arab arena and the region in view of the escalating tension in the Middle East region.
The premiers later held an expanded session of talks in the presence of the two countries' delegation.
The Lebanese premier arrived here earlier in the day on a visit to Egypt at an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart
