Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa on Tuesday met with Egypt's new ambassador to Vatican Hatem Seif El Nasr for talks on the ministry's dispatch of missions to Arab, Islamic and other world nations.

The ambassador, who is expected to leave for the Holy See soon, hailed the ministry's new approach in choosing preachers and scholars who are being sent overseas.

The talks also tackled the ministry's efforts in boosting dialogue among civilizations and spreading the moderate teachings of Islam.
