Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi met on Wednesday with his Hungarian counterpart Istvan Simicsko for talks on regional developments and efforts to fight terrorism and regain stability in the region.
Talks also tackled boosting military cooperation between Egypt and Hungary and exchanging expertise between the two countries armed forces.
Sobhi lauded deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Hungary, hoping the coming period would witness more cooperation between the two countries.
Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazi and other senior army officials attended the talks.
