Director General of the Civil Defense Department (CDD) Major General Mustafa Bazaiah on Thursday discussed with Head of Department of International Relations at the French Interior Ministry Colonel Philippe Nardin, a twinning projects with the EU as well as means to enhance coordination during emergencies.

The project aims at enhancing crises and disaster management, especially during earthquakes, droughts, floods, landslides as well as handling hazardous materials.

The CDD director voiced willingness to boost cooperation with the French side through holding training courses for CDD cadres.
