Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazy received on Wednesday Michael Garrett, the US Army Central Commanding General, and his accompanying delegation now visiting here.

The meeting took up several important issues of common concern in light of the recent developments in the region.

The two sides also discussed means of promoting joint military cooperation in the face of current challenges particularly terrorism.
