Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa received the French Directorate General of Armament (DGA) director for African and Middle Eastern Affairs Stephane Pichon, marking his visit to attend the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2017).

The BDF chief welcomed the French delegation, hailing strong relations of cooperation and friendship and steadily-growing joint ties in all fields.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by BDF General Court director Major-General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi and Assistant Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah.
