Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met at the BDF's General Command today, the commanders of the navies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The GCC Naval forces commanders are in Bahrain to participate in their 17th meeting, hosted by BDF.
The commander-in-chief lauded the efforts exerted by the GCC navies' commanders to strengthen cooperation and coordination among them through holding regular meetings aimed at increasing the efficiency of joint action and activating maritime cooperation among GCC countries' armed forces.
