Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan received here yesterday US Deputy Secretary of State for the Middle East Affairs, Tony Blinken, who is currently visiting the UAE.
They discussed ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the US, as well as issues of mutual interest.
They also reviewed avenues of bilateral cooperation, positions on the current issues and regional developments, particularly the situation in Yemen.
In attendance was Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs.
