Seoul - Yonhap
The director of a Taiwanese film that is to open this year's Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) said Thursday that Korean and Chinese people who share a similar history would deeply understand the historical pains depicted in his film based on a civil war between Taiwan and mainland China.
"Korean and Chinese people experienced similar historical pains," Doze Chen-Zer Niu, director of "Paradise in Service," told a press conference after the press screening of the film.
