Mohammed Jum'a Fzai'e

The Ministry of Human Rights Affairs (MoHRA) organized a series of human rights' awareness lectures in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD).
The lectures cover basic concepts of human rights and international mechanisms to beneficiaries of social service centres and students participating in the summertime activity programme.
The lectures aim at increasing society awareness about the culture of human rights to become the culture of the community members from all age groups. The lectures were presented at the community centers in Riffa, Sitra and Hamad Town. Interactive discussion followed each lecture as well a Q & A session.
The series of lectures was presented by Mohammed Jum'a Fzai'e the Director of Legal Affairs and Conventions and Abdullah Mohammed Al-Sada the Legal Researcher in the Ministry of Human Rights.
The series of lectures was part of community partnerships launched by the Ministry of Human Rights Affairs in association with various bodies aimed to spread rights' culture and public awareness emanating from the principle of communication and interaction between the Ministry and various institutions and also to boost the principle of community partnership.
The Ministry has been keen on exchanging visits with various institutions and centres to get acquainted with various activities and events and to exchange experiences and boost ways and means of mutual cooperation.
