Lebanese Minister of Culture Capi Layoun said here on Friday his country had handed back smuggled antiquities to Iraq. The smuggled antiquities mainly include coins seized last year with an Iraqi citizen while trying to enter Beirut, according to Lebanese local media reports. The Lebanese move comes in line with relevant international conventions and treaties on the fight against the smuggling of intellectual properties.
