Amman - MENA
Awqaf Minister Hayel Abdulhafez Dawud praised Saturday his country's ties with Egypt.
In statements to MENA on the sidelines of a conference on women, held in Kuwait, Dawud hailed the national role played by Egypt to support issues of its Arab and Muslims neighbors.
He said his country highly appreciates Egypt's role and its Arab, Muslim, and international weight. He also asserted his country's support to Egyptian leadership and people, wishing more stability for it.
Benefiting from Egypt's experience in training Muslim preachers, renewing religious dialogue, and countering extremist thoughts, the Jordanian minister highlighted the good coordination between Egypt and Jordan, and praised the effort exerted by the two countries' Awqaf ministries to sign a memorandum of understanding to form an Arab block aimed at countering terrorist ideologies.
