Culture Minister Abdel-Wahed El-Nabawi opened on Monday a symposium on African culture in Cairo.

The minister called for establishing a body for boosting cultural ties and cooperation between African nations.

He said the ministry floated a proposal for establishing an international culture center for Africa in Cairo.
