Egypt's Ambassador to Russia Mohamed el Badry met on Saturday with the culture minister of Tatarstan.
The meeting took up ways to promote cultural ties as part of the Egyptian day at Kazan University of the Russian Federation republic.
They agreed on organizing a week on the history and culture of Tatarstan in Egypt.
Educational cooperation was also mulled at the meeting.
The president of Kazan University was present.
