Cabinet approves urgent plan to restore tourism movement

The Cabinet has approved an urgent plan to restore tourism movement, Spokesman for the Cabinet Ambassador Hossam Al Qawesh.

The plan includes six main axes to be implemented over six months.

The plan is meant to develop an integrated plan to restore tourism movement and support aviation, development and investment in infrastructure through improving products and services offered to tourists.

The plan will seek to increase foreign direct investments, and encourage the transition to green tourism.

The Cabinet also approved offering fourth-generation (4G) licenses to mobile operators in Egypt as part of a plan to improve services provided for citizens in this sector.
