Volunteers and sponsors

Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has praised the efforts exerted by volunteers and sponsors of the Capital Governorate’s programmes and functions in 2013/2014.
He expressed pride in the landmark contributions of volunteers and sponsors, noting that their dedicated efforts emanate from readiness to assume their responsibilities towards their society.
This came as he patronised the Capital Governorate’s eighth annual ceremony during which he honoured 60 volunteers and sponsors from ministries and government departments, sponsoring companies, strategic partners, Hussainiya Precessions, Ras Ruman Centre, public schools and social centres.
Ras Roman Centre Chairman Hussain Milad delivered a statement on behalf of the honourees in which he expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Capital Governorate for its initiatives to consolidate the concept of voluntary work and community partnership and keenness to hold the honouring ceremony annually.
Head of Hussainiya Processions Fuad Al-Hajji said that the Capital Governorate’s landmark initiative boosts cohesion among all segments of the Bahraini society, noting that the governorate’s kind gesture reflects the kingdom’s efforts to extend bridges of co-existence and solidarity among all members of the Bahraini society.
Then, Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman honoured volunteers and sponsors and presented them with commemorative gift and certificates.
