The Grande Mosquée in Paris

Algerian minister of Religious Affairs Mohamed Aissa and French minister of the Interior and Cult, Bernard Cazeneuve signed here Thursday an agreement on training of Algerian imams working in France. The agreement is also about the rehabilitation of Paris' mosques and El-Ghazali Institute as well as the exchange of experiences between the two countries in the cultural and university fields, Algeria Press Service (APS) reported.
A joint committee made up of representatives at the Algerian ministries of Religious and Foreign Affairs and the French Foreign and Interior Affairs ministries is to implement the agreement, according to the report.
The agreement was signed as a result of discussions held as part of the meeting of the Algerian-French joint high commission, organized recently in France under the co-chairmanship of the prime ministers of the two countries.
