South Korea’s central bank on Thursday raised its 2014 economic growth forecast to 4% while lowering this year’s inflation outlook due to falls in prices of agricultural products, South Korea’s news agency (Yonhap) reported. The growth projection by the Bank of Korea (BOK) is higher compared with its previous estimate of 3.8%. The bank also raised the 2015 growth outlook to 4.2% from 4%.
