Russia's central bank prohibited offices of nine Ukrainian banks in Crimea to continue their operations. "The Central Bank of Russia has stopped the operations of Oschadbank, Marfin Bank, Ukraine's UniCredit Bank affiliate earlier known as Ukrsotsbank, UkrSibbank, Delta Bank, CityCommerceBank, Forum Bank, Avtokrazbank and Platinum Bank," The Voice of Russia reported. Officials of the bank said "depositors will be compensated by recently-established fund to protect rights of depositors in Crimea".
