Credit and Saving Bank approved 37.46 million Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) in housing loans in August this year, of them KD 12.84 million were disbursed. The bank, in its monthly bulletin over housing loans, said it approved 728 loans during August. These loans were meant to build privately-owned lots, government lots, purchasing of houses, renovation in addition to donations to people with special needs, it said. The KD equals USD 0.284.
