The Doha- based Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) the consulting knowledge-based organization, said Tuesday that it has signed with Bahrain development bank (BDB) a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aiming to enhance joint cooperation and coordination in fields of joint interest. A press release issued here today , said the three-year MoU aims to realize cherished interest to the two parties via joint cooperation and coordination and establishing labour partnerships between them. According to such MoU ,the two sides will exchange information and data, feasibility studies and investment opportunities, and will be preparing for the study and promotion of industrial investment opportunities in the field of small and medium industries, and preparation of the technical diagnostic studies to identify the ample opportunities and production obstacles faced by these industries, with an examination of the small and medium plants and providing the appropriate recommendations to them. Both sides also agreed in their MoU to work for increasing the competitiveness of the small and medium enterprises at the local, regional and international levels through the exchange of experiences available to both sides. It is worth to mention thsat GOIC aims to maintain its leading role in the field of information and industrial publishing through continuous development of databases by updating, adding, enriching the content of the portal and providing trusted industrial, social and economic information that meet the needs of those interested in economic and social development issues, decision makers, researchers in the public and private sectors and among investors and business leaders in the GCC States and in Yemen which joined GOIC in 2009.
