Cairo - MENA
Egypt denied on Monday a news report that an International Monetary Fund delegation asked Cairo to accept a an urgent small loan. The report was unfounded, said cabinet spokesman Alaa Hadidi. The IMF team paid this week a visit to Cairo to hold more talks about a planned $ 4.8 billion loan to Egypt to overcome its current economic crisis. The talks resulted in no more advance on the loan. But another IMF delegation was agreed to come to Egypt soon.
