The Executive Board of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) decided, at its meeting held Wednesday, to increase the key interest rate of the BCT by 25 basis points by bringing it to 4.75%, to contain the effect of increasing inflation and its impact on deterioration of the citizens' purchasing power.
