The elections committee for the 29th session for the board of directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) today held its second meeting under the chairmanship of Jassim Hassan Abdul A’Al and in the presence of committee members and concerned BCCI officials. 
The committee ratified the minutes of its December 14 meeting, reviewed electors’ list and the summary of memberships against number of votes, and agreed on having the voters’ list published on the Chamber’s website on February 7. 
The committee also endorsed making announcements on local newspapers on February 8 with regard to receiving requests for the amendment of names and data, and decided announcing the period in which it will commence receiving applications for board membership candidacy on February 22. 
Abdul A’Al affirmed the committee’s full autonomy and transparency, and asserted abiding strictly by the Chamber’s bylaw to ensure a just elections process.
