Samsung Electronics Co. is planning to roll out a much-awaited Tizen-powered handset in November in India, in what will be the industry's first commercial smartphone that runs on the new operating system, a company official said.
The world's No. 1 maker of smartphones plans to release a Tizen-powered handset in India that will "coexist with the Android devices," reported India-based The Economic Times, quoting Tarun Malik, the Southwest Asia head of Samsung's Media Solutions Center.
