French video game maker Ubisoft says some of its online systems have been hacked and players\' usernames, email addresses and passwords were stolen. The video game publisher said users\' financial information remained safe because that information is stored by third parties and not by Ubisoft, Slash Gear reported Tuesday. Ubisoft, on its company blog, is recommending all account holders create new passwords on ubi.com and on any other websites where they have used the same password. While users\' passwords are encrypted on their servers, Ubisoft said they \"could be cracked, in particular if the password chosen is weak.\" Citing \"security reasons,\" Ubisoft declined to release any specifics about the data breach.
