Samsung Electonics Co., one of the world\'s leading home appliance makers, said Thursday that total downloads from its smart TV applications store have surpassed the 10 million mark. The company said there were an average of 50,000 downloads per day from its dedicated apps store, which began service in Feb. 2010. It also said that during that 19-month period, 1,000 different applications for high-end TV sets had been downloaded by consumers.
