LG Display Co., the world\'s No. 2 maker of liquid crystal display (LCD) panels, said Thursday it swung to a net loss in the third quarter as consumers delayed TV purchases on an uncertain economic outlook. The net loss recorded for the July-September period was 688 billion won (US$601 million), compared with a profit of 224 billion won a year earlier, the company said in a regulatory filing.
