China\'s largest flat panel maker BOE Technology Group Co. has increased its production of small and medium-size panels, company officials said Thursday, as growing demand for handsets and portable devices in the country boosts the need for such panels. BOE Technology Group, founded in 1993, specializes in thin-film transistor liquid-crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels, which appear brighter and sharper than traditional LCD displays.
