The 15th Aviation Expo China will be held at the China National Convention Center, in Beijing, from Sept. 25 to Sept. 28. The expo, known as the only aviation exhibition permitted in Beijing, is a biennial event initiated in 1983. This year\'s expo, which covers an exhibition area of 18,500 square meters, will showcase the state-of-art aircrafts from across the world, as well as the supporting equipment and accessories. It\'s also a high-end platform for promoting aviation consulting, software services, R&D and pilot training. Breathtaking flight performances are also going to wow aviation enthusiasts at the expo. The expo, known as the dominant event in China\'s aviation industry,will be attendedby a full-array of well-known international aviation companies, including the European aeronautic defense and space companies Boeing, Honeywell, Bombardier,MTU, IAE, Bell Helicopter, Motor-Sich, Esterline and AVISMA. It will have six national pavilions from Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France, Italy and Canada. A highlight of this year\'s expo is the Beijing Aviation Cultural Week that will be held between Sept. 23 and Sept. 28, the first of its kind in the expo. The event will include a number of forums, new aviation products, academic exchanges and aviationdissemination activities. During the cultural festival, the Badaling Flying Dynamic Exhibition, a large-scaled display of general aviation aircrafts in the capital city for the first time, will gather nearly 40 aircrafts, including helicopters, fixed-wing airplanesand powered gliders at the Badaling Airport in Yanqing County. Professional visitors and potential buyers will have the opportunity to travel, within merely 20 minutes, from the Badaling Great Wall to the Bird\'s Nest in Chaoyang District. The expo will have trade days from Sept. 25 to Sept. 27 and will open to the public on Sept. 28. The event is organized by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, China Aviation Supplies Holding Company, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Sub-Council of Aviation Industries and China Promotion Ltd, Hong Kong. It is also supported by China\'s top aviation authorities, airlines, enterprises, China PLA Air Force and China PLA Navy.
