Egypt and the world celebrate the International Women’s Day Tuesday.

Chairman of National Council for Women Maya Morsi greeted Egyptian women on the occasion, 

lauding the support of the Egyptian political administration to the women issues in the 

different domains.

Morsi vowed that enabling women economically will be one of the most important issues to 

be tackled by the council.

On the Arab arena, Iraq’s first lady Rounak Abdulwahid messaged greetings expressing 

solidarity to the women in the Arab region on the occasion.
